HERE WE ARE......

So, this is us on another SDC trip!! I know this is boring, but.......... it is our life outside of Ministry! We are getting ready to take a weekend in Eureka Springs June 4th and 5th!! Just the four of us!! We are looking forward to it. We have a BUSY summer ahead of us! I do LOVE it though!!
VBS, Youth Camp at BBC, and of course MANY MORE trips to SDC!!! hahaha Wanting to take a trip to Savannah, GA. PAULA DEEN here we come :) Maybe that will happen this fall or next spring.
Shout out to Brian and Jade............CONGRATS!! We are SO proud of you and will be praying for you and your ministry!! Can`t wait to hear you preach Sunday night!! Looking forward to your Ordination Service!! You guys ROCK for JESUS!!
Well friends, I must go now and teach my children :) One more week left of school!! NOAH & OLIVIA are the BEST students ever!!! Have a GREAT DAY IN THE LORD!

HOW MANY TIMES CAN ONE GO TO SDC IN A YEAR?

I guess we will find out! So far we have been 4 times since opening day and going again tomorrow! Noah and Olivia TOTALLY LOVE it. I enjoy the festivals and watching shows. World Fest was fab! Now it is Bluegrass and BBQ Fest. :( Not really my fave. But that is ok because being with ALL of my children and grandchildren is what I LOVE the best! I will post pics on my next post.
I pray that you will all have a wonderful weekend! Very nice weather in store for us. We are having our annual High Attendance Sunday this weekend along with fish fry and special music concert featuring the 2 Timbers at 1pm. You are all welcome to come and visit. It will be a great time of worshiping Sunday!!

Mothers Day...Dishes....Rainy Days...Random Shouts..

Hope all of you mothers out there had a very Happy Mothers Day!! I had a wonderful one myself. My family spoils me too much :) My hubby gave me a gift card to Grove Spa!! YEAH!! Can`t wait to use it. I have really been feeling like I need on lately! My children and mother gave me chocolates and dishes! I LOVE them all SO much! I have been wanting this particular set of dishes for awhile now. I do love to drink my coffee out of the square cups!!

Now, let`s talk about all of this rain. It has been so cold and rainy all I want to do is stay in the house and read, eat soup and sleep! Ok, sounds great, I just can`t do that though :( Here are some rainy day pics I thought would be fun to post...

Hello Again!

Well, we have had a very busy few weeks! 2 weeks in row in Revival. First one at our church with Bro. Jared Bumpers!!! He did a fantastic job and the Lord stirred alot of hearts that week! Then Kevin preached a Mon-Fri Revival in a little church in Northview! Great attendance and sweet spirit every night! The following Sunday they had 2 salvations, a family join and a new family come to Bible Fellowship Class!! Praise the Lord for his goodness and faithfulness!!
The kid`s and I did get away one day to SDC and had a great time of fun! And also I was able to go to a women`s retreat with Brandi and had a great time there!! This is a few pics of SDC and the Chateau on the Lake, where the retreat was held.
We are planning another trip to SDC probably Saturday if it does not rain. Would really like to go tomorrow! The weather is so beautiful today especially after it feeling like fall out Monday and yesterday.
We have 4 1/2 more weeks of school left!!!! YIPPEE!!!! Noah and Olivia have worked very hard this year and we are looking forward to spending ALOT of time at SDC this summer along with our many other fun summer activities that we have planned.

GREAT WEEKEND!

Hello everybody! We have had a great and wonderful weekend! We (or I mean Kevin) haha planted our vegetable garden on Saturday while the kids and I went to the nature center for a walk. He also did all of the yard work! So we all got our exercise that day! And what a beautiful day it was! We did not plant what we usually do because neither of us really have the time to take care of the garden. We planted tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, spinach, cucumbers and onions. I LOVE to eat fresh salad in the summer!!

Revival started yesterday at our church with Bro. Jared Bumpers. We heard a great Word from the LORD both services! We love you Jared and Kim!! We are SO looking forward to this evenings service and looking forward to seeing many friends and family!

Today is another school day (we have about 6 more weeks left). I also planted my herbs this morning! Can`t wait...I have always wanted an herb garden! We will see how that goes :)

Well, better get back to teaching! ha You all have a great week and enjoy the outdoors!

NOW THAT`S A GRILL!!!

Well, we finally bought our "dream" grill. LOL It is a duo, gas and charcoal grill plus a side burner! Kevin just finished putting it together! It is very late and we are very tired but I wanted to share with you this pic and invite you to dinner soon! Love you all and have a great day tomorrow!

Beautiful Thursday

What a beautiful day I had with my 2 children and grandsons!! We spent the day outside in the back yard playing. Had a sweet night together. I have the BEST grandsons in the entire world!! They LOVE their Aunt Mimi and Uncle Noah so much and have so much fun playing together. God has truly blessed us with wonderful children and grandchildren!!

FRIDAY: Went to SDC today and listened to LIFESONG at the Dockside Theater. What a BLESSING! We love you all!! Maybe we will have a c.d. soon?? God is really using these four wonderful people in an amazing way! Thank you SDC for haveing Gospel music shows!

Easter: I wish you all a very Happy Easter! Remember we serve a RISEN SAVIOUR! I pray that everyone who reads this has a special relationship with HIM! I am so glad that I serve a LIVING GOD! Thank you GOD for sending us JESUS!!
I am looking forward to spending Easter dinner with family and having an egg hunt for all the kids! What a blast! I LOVE spending time with our family and friends!
I thank GOD everyday for YOU ALL!

SPRINGTIME

Well hello to all my friends in the blog world! We have been loving life and staying busy. I will try to do my best and keep our posts up to date. This is my FAVORITE time of year!(I say that every season! ha) Seriously though, you can`t help but love it when the sun comes out and the flowers start to bloom and you are not wearing layers of clothes! Unlike tonight :(
Oh well, lets see..........tomorrow we are going to Prayer Walk our church community. We did it last Saturday and had several groups go out and all together we prayed over appx. 655 houses!! We were really blessed to get to pray for those families and I can`t wait to see what God will do over the next few months! I just finished listening to Bro. Herb Reavis preach a seromon on itunes. He is a wonderful preacher. Speaking of preaching, please pray for Kevin as he prepares to preach in a Revival March 22-24 in Marshfield. God is SO good and faithful to us!! For those of you who don`t know, we are getting over sickness this week. Noah and I had bronchitis and are doing much better now. We got to stop the inhaler (yeah!! talk about making a kid hyper :) ) Anyways, I am thankful to have such a great Healer to go to when we are sick. Ok, what else..........Looking forward to Silver Dollar City next week (providing the weather permits) i don`t like to go in the rain or cold:(
